If no one recognizes you – do you really exist?
After five years of war, the thin soldier, Susya, returned home.
Upon his doorstep he finds the fat soldier, who claims to be Susya himself, and the house belongs to him. The woman has a hard time recognizing who her lover is, and so does the child. Later, another soldier returns from the war, crawling, who also claims to be Susya.
In his signature sharp and poetic writing, Levin tells an absurd legend about man’s darkest fears and motives.
