A timeless classic, the play takes place in the 17th century, but is still relevant to our era in which fake-news and social shaming are overflowing social media and changing lives.
In Salem, a town struck by hysteria and fear, dominated by fanatical religious clerics, 17-year-old Abigail Williams is having an affair with John Proctor. When his wife finds out, Abigail is banishing from their home. In love, hurt and unrestrained, Abigail does all she can to get back into John’s arms.
One enchanted night, the town is drifts into an unstoppable whirlwind of cravings, fears, schemes, dark desires and hidden agendas.
The story is told using contemporary stage language, incorporating spectacular video art that illustrates the plot of this passionate play.
