The Yoram Leowenstein Acting Studio Proudly Presents:
Summer and Smoke
By Tennessee Williams
Direction– Michal Uziel
Alma, the daughter of a minister in a small Southern town, and John, the son of the doctor who lives across the street, grow up side by side, drawn to each other since childhood. She longs for transcendent love, purity, and meaning, while he is drawn to the body, freedom, and a life without restraint. Just as they are finally ready to change, they miss their chance at love.
SUMMER AND SMOKE is presented by special arrangement with The University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee and International Literary Properties.
