Krum, dreaming of becoming a great writer, returns from abroad without any achievements, to the neighborhood where he grew up, and meets his childhood characters.
A neighborhood of dreamers about the lives of others, the unattainable, wonderful and shining life, like those projected on the screen through a vibrating light beam of the magic lantern in the local movie theater.
Funerals mingle with weddings and moments of happiness in farewells.
