The studio is proud to present one of the most controversial plays of modern classics – “Caligula” by Nobel Prize winner – Albert Camus, in an innovative and surprising adaptation by Lilach Segal, which echoes our contemporary world of crumbling politics and belligerence.
The plot tells the story of the Roman Emperor Caligula, determined to expose the futility of life and redeem his people from bondage in an ecstasy of uncompromising tyranny. His decision to take his fate and the fate of his people in his hands, creates an emotional and political turmoil, sweeping up to the inevitable end.
