Acting Preparatory Program
The studies at the Preparatory Program enable a proper acquaintance with the world of theater and acting on the road to being accepted to the full Acting Study-Course or as an independent course designed to acquire tools and skills from the world of Stage. The Preparatory Programs are run by the finest selection of teachers at the Studio, teaching: Basics for Acting, Improvisation, Text Analysis and Studies, Group Development, Movement for Theater and Voice Lessons.
Students of the Preparatory Program may participate in Third-Year Students’ Productions as Technical Staff – thus acquiring the important experience of technical stage-work (Assistant-Direction, Lighting, Sound, and Performance-Administrating).
The studies at the Preparatory Program require a serious, responsible and mature attitude to the studies, curiosity and open-mindedness, as well as an honest desire to learn, develop and try new things…
The Preparatory Program includes two weekly sessions, summing up to 12 weekly. The sessions are held during the morning hours .
Preparatory Program Curriculum
- Movement for Theater.
- Choral Singing.
- An Actor’s Work on Himself.
- Scenes and Monologues.
Requirements for Acceptance
registration and audition (a monologue of choice, either comic or dramatic, taken from any play put on one of the repertory stages in Israel). Fluent Hebrew required.
